went there on a sunny Sunday, asked to be seated outside and was told that if we wanted to eat outside we must pay up front and out of take away boxes, left immediately

norwich, United Kingdom - 3rd February 2007

Visited for the first time this week and we were not impressed. We were left standing around for ages on arrival before finally being shown to a table. My food was good a decent size burger but my wife found a hair in her pasta which is disgusting. To be fair the staff removed the cost of the item from the bill but I dont think we will be going back in a hurry.

I've been to Fatso's on Prince of Wales RD lots, so thought I would try Salhouse Rd for my Dad's birthday. I was disappointed. On arrival, we were virtually ignored. Main courses were speedy, but then we had a 15 minute wait to clear the plates followed by a 25 minute wait for dessert. Then our bill arrived and it included the bill for the people next to us too!! On pointing this out, I received no apology. Not good service.

Now another Fatso's. The service can be a little slow at lunchtimes but it's always friendly in a cheeky kind of way. Avoid the curly fries as they are pretty greasy but the wedges and jacket potatoes are good. The burgers are good quality meat, and huge! However, worth bearing in mind that you can't get them cooked medium rare. I am told the veggie option is good too.
The chicken wrap was nice and spicey.
