The Oaklands Hotel & Restaurant is set in its own grounds on the outskirts of the medieval City of Norwich overlooking the beautiful Yare River Valley, Norfolk.
In 1996 the hotel was bought by Michael Pearcey as part of Distinct Hotels Limited, a family owned business which provides a welcome alternative to the corporate approach often found from the large hotel chains. Since then The Oaklands Hotel & Restaurant has grown into one of Norfolk 's top independent hotels providing a local feel and individual atmosphere.
The Hotel has 37 well appointed bedrooms, decorated to high standards, constantly refreshed, and containing all the features you would expect from an RAC three star listed building.

norwich, United Kingdom - 4th October 2006been here several times, no complaints on the food what so ever excellent every time and well worth the money. Rooms are clean but do look tatty

Norwich, United Kingdom - 27th June 2006Been to many functions (wedding receptions, parties etc.) here and always had a pleasant time. Room & food deal on a Friday is also great value - the annex rooms are very stylish!
