So homely, and great selection of food and drinks. Friendly staff, and lovely "budge up" policy so room for everyone! I go whenever I'm in town.

Really nice cosy bar, food was good, although there was a little too much going on in my brownie. The wife really likes the crockery and I really like the fact that a lot of the food is locally sourced. Grolsch however is a crap beer!

A nice little place to have a coffee or meet friends for drinks at the weekend. Great choice or drinks, and nice selectoin of snacks. All day Breakfast is served on Sundays, though the portions are a bit meagre for &7.50 - and why do the baked beans come in little pot? Silly! Afternoon film on Sundays is a nice touch.

Franks has good food (I especially like the fry up on a Sunday) and is good for drinks too. Service is friendly and speedy and the bar has a good atmosphere. Recommended - one of my favorite places in Norwich.

Wow, what a great place to eat, drink & relax. Franks Bar is now one of my favourite venues. They serve great food, reasonably priced, with a really diverse and interesting menu (which seems to change on a regular basis). The service is great, and the staff chatty and welcoming.
It's a great place to go for Sunday Brunch (the blueberry pancakes are my favourite), and they even show films on a Sunday afternoon out the back.

Small but great bar. Very relaxed bar and if you can find a spot you can sit here happily drinking for ages. I would though say the food is hit and miss. On a recent visit I had bangers and mash, which while tasty was so very small and cost £8. That's my only negative, that the lunch wasn't good value. So, great bar for drinks but be weary of the dishes you order.
